Akurdi is our closest neighbourhood
Our clinic is in Ravet, at 101 High Street Mall on Celestial City Road β and of all the surrounding areas, Akurdi is the nearest. Walhekarwadi and Bijli Nagar sit directly between the two. For most Akurdi patients this is a ten-minute journey, which matters more than it sounds: Panchakarma is a daily commitment over one to three weeks, and a short commute is often what determines whether someone completes a course or abandons it halfway.
We should be clear that we do not run a branch in Akurdi. Vishwashreeja is one clinic, in Ravet. If you searched for an Ayurvedic clinic in Akurdi and landed here, this page is about what it takes to reach us and what we treat β not a second location.
Getting here from Akurdi
- By train: Akurdi station is on the Pune Suburban line β take an auto from the station towards Ravet and Celestial City Road, a short ride. Chinchwad station is the next stop down if that suits your line better.
- By car or two-wheeler: around 10 minutes via the AkurdiβRavet stretch, continuing towards Mukai Chowk and then Celestial City Road.
- From Walhekarwadi or Bijli Nagar: shorter still β these sit between Akurdi and Ravet.
- Landmark: we are inside High Street Mall, beside Pharande Felicity. Parking is available at the mall.
What Akurdi patients most often come for
Akurdi's mix β long-settled residential pockets, college students, and a working population across the PCMC industrial belt β shows up clearly in what we see:
- Skin conditions. Acne and pigmentation among younger patients, and chronic presentations like psoriasis, eczema and vitiligo in older ones. Virechana and Raktamokshan are the core procedures here.
- PCOD and menstrual irregularity. A large share of our younger female patients, often after an ultrasound has confirmed it and they are looking for something beyond hormonal management. See our fertility and PCOD page.
- Digestive complaints. Hyperacidity, GERD, IBS-type symptoms and chronic constipation β commonly tied to shift work and irregular eating. Virechana plus dietary correction.
- Neck and shoulder pain. Cervical spondylosis from desk work, treated with Nasya, Greeva Basti and Shirodhara.
Full range of therapies
All five classical Panchakarma procedures are performed here β Vaman, Virechana, Basti, Nasya and Raktamokshan β with proper Purvakarma preparation and Paschatkarma aftercare, plus Abhyanga, Swedan, Shirodhara, Uttar Basti, Garbhasanskar and Suvarnaprashan for children. Separate therapy arrangements are maintained for male and female patients.
Before you come
Bring your reports. If you have had recent blood work, an ultrasound or any specialist consultation, bring it. It shortens the assessment considerably and stops us duplicating investigations you have already paid for.
Do not stop prescribed medication. If you are on treatment from another doctor, keep taking it and tell us what it is. Ayurvedic treatment is planned around it, not in place of it.
Check the day. We are open Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and closed on Wednesdays.
